1. Service description
AudioGist provides audio and video uploads, browser recording, YouTube source processing, AI transcription, summaries, action items, editing, exports, and related account management. Features marked preview, simulated, or planned are not production delivery commitments.
2. Account responsibility
Users must provide accurate information, protect credentials, and take responsibility for account activity. If unauthorized access is suspected, change the password, revoke other devices, and contact support. Accounts may not be shared to avoid plan limits.
3. User content and license
Users retain their lawful rights in content and grant AudioGist permission to temporarily host, transform, transmit, and process it only as needed to provide the service. Users must have the right to upload, record, and process the voices and material involved.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, communications secrecy, or other legal rights.
- Process illegal content or malicious files, or bypass quotas, authentication, rate limits, or security controls.
- Perform destructive scanning, abuse the service at scale, resell unauthorized access, or interfere with other users.
- Record people secretly where notice or consent is required.
5. Plans, payment, and cancellation
Free entitlements are limited as shown on the pricing page. Paid subscriptions use provider-hosted checkout and verified webhook events as the source of entitlement state. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions in the Billing Portal; effective cancellation, refunds, taxes, and price changes are governed by checkout terms and the final production policy.
6. AI output
Transcription, speaker detection, and summaries can be wrong because of noise, accents, overlapping speech, or model limitations. Users must review outputs before legal, medical, financial, employment, or other high-impact decisions and must not treat AI output as professional advice.
7. Intellectual property
AudioGist software, branding, interface, and original content belong to the operator or its licensors. Except where applicable law permits, users may not copy brand assets, remove rights notices, or make unauthorized use of the service source code.
8. Availability and changes
The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, supplier failures, quotas, networks, or security events. The operator may improve, replace, or discontinue features and will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary impact on paid users.
9. Termination and deletion
Users can stop using the service and delete their account through the product flow. Serious violations, security risks, or legal requirements may result in restricted or terminated access. Account deletion cannot be undone; export anything you need first.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without a guarantee of a particular accuracy level or uninterrupted availability. Before launch, the operator must add applicable liability caps, indemnities, dispute resolution, and governing-law terms.
