1. Get started
- Upload supported MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, AIFF, Opus, WebM, MP4, MKV, AVI, 3GP, FLV, MPEG, and other media files up to 2 GB each.
- Record directly in the browser, then preview, retry, or submit the recording.
- Paste a public YouTube URL and let an asynchronous job extract and transcribe its audio.
Work is completed asynchronously by a queue and isolated compute plane.
2. Transcription and job states
- queued means the job is waiting; processing means audio is being extracted, chunked, or sent to the model.
- completed jobs can be edited, summarized, and exported; failed jobs retain a diagnostic error state.
- Free, Basic, Standard, and Pro allow 1, 3, 6, and 10 concurrent jobs respectively.
AI output should be reviewed by a person.
3. Review and speakers
- Edit segment text directly and save the corrected server record.
- Renaming a speaker updates every matching segment in the transcript.
- Noise, accents, and overlapping speech can affect timestamps and speaker detection.

4. Summaries, templates, and action items
- Free includes all 12 built-in templates.
- Any paid plan can create up to 20 user-level custom templates.
- Action items can be marked complete, and summaries can be regenerated after transcription.

5. Export, sharing, and integrations
- Export a transcript as TXT, DOCX, PDF, SRT, VTT, CSV, Markdown, or JSON.
- Select 2–25 completed library items and package one export format into a ZIP.
- Create expiring, revocable share links with content controls, or sync to Notion and signed webhooks.

6. Security, retention, and accounts
- Source media is deleted after processing by default; security settings can retain sources for uploads and recordings created afterward.
- Sessions, uploads, shares, and jobs use ownership checks, rate limits, or HMAC signatures.
- Users can manage devices, enable TOTP, export content, and delete an account after canceling active subscriptions.
Use the developer API
Basic, Standard, and Pro users can create a read-only API key and use standard Bearer authentication to retrieve their transcripts and structured content.
